Dear STC 7th Grade Families,

We would like to invite you to a Family Night on Feb 22nd at 5:30pm, in the Middle School gymnasium.

Your 7th grade students are automatically qualified for the GEAR UP 3.0 Grant that STC has received. This grant will follow your students through graduation, and beyond into college.  Every 7th grade student will receive a college scholarship for their first 4 years of college with this funding.  We would like to present the certificates for those scholarships, as well as a free t-shirt, to all students at Family Night.  We will have some light refreshments, and provide a brief presentation on GEAR UP 3.0 and everything that we will be able to offer your students for the next 5 years with the program funding. There will be opportunities for students to learn and experience all possible futures after high school graduation. College is only one of the many paths that we will explore with students.

Nos gustaría invitarlos a una Noche Familiar el 22 de febrero a las 5:30 p.m., en el gimnasio de la Middle School

Sus estudiantes de séptimo grado califican automáticamente para la beca GEAR UP 3.0 que recibió STC. Esta beca acompañará a sus estudiantes hasta su graduación y aún más, hasta la universidad. Cada estudiante de séptimo grado recibirá una beca universitaria durante sus primeros 4 años de universidad con este financiamiento. Nos gustaría presentar los certificados de esas becas, así como una camiseta gratis, a todos los estudiantes en una Noche Familiar. Tomaremos algunos bocadillos y haremos una breve presentación sobre GEAR UP 3.0 y todo lo que podremos ofrecer a sus estudiantes durante los próximos 5 años con la financiación del programa. Habrá oportunidades para que los estudiantes aprendan y experimenten todos los futuros posibles después de graduarse de la high school. La universidad es sólo uno de los muchos caminos que exploraremos con los estudiantes.
